We only collect empty containers. It is essential that the container is empty of all foreign materials/contaminants. If the container is not empty it will not be removed and the charge for removing will be non refundable. There will be another fee to return at a later date. Should the container be removed and it was not empty, you will be charged the amount necessary to hold and dispose of the contents, plus our operational fee for doing so.

Cancelation or change of date should be made no later than 72 hours prior to the previously agreed date, otherwise a fee will be incurred to re-schedule.

Payments

Final payment for the removal and disposal of the shipping container(s) should be made no later than 72 hours prior to the agreed date. If it has not been paid we will need to reschedule, unless if agreed otherwise in writing by Container Disposal.

Progressing the removal of your shipping container(s)
The next stage is to agree a date and time to collect your shipping container(s). We will then issue a Pro-Forma invoice to be paid. If someone is required onsite to guide our driver, open gates or others help, we would like their contact details and they will need to be onsite for the arrival of the collection team.

Preparation

The shipping container(s) should be empty, unless otherwise agreed. They should not be connected to any form of electric, gas or water supplies. We will need access to get a suitable sized lorry to the container, so the path and access to the container must be clear.

We reserve the right to leave the container if the above preparation has not taken place. There will be another fee to return at a later date.

Environment

Container Disposal is committed to setting industry leading environmental standards, and is committed to the protection of the environment and the prevention of pollution. We consider our responsibility towards the environment to be a priority. We are committed to meeting and where practical, exceeding relevant regulatory requirements of applicable environmental legislation.
